CYNTHIA ROVEDA B.Mus., B. Ed., M. Mus., RMT, RHN, OCT
Cynthia has an active music studio in Sturgeon Falls. She teaches mostly piano students of all ages and all levels from the West Nipissing area. She is fluently bilingual in both official languages.
Cynthia is a graduate with a Bachelor of Music (with a double major in piano and French Horn) from the University of Ottawa. She is a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto and in good standing with the College of Teachers of Ontario. She holds a Master of Music from the University of Toronto. She also has an Honour’s Specialist qualifications from the Ministry of Education in Vocal Music and Special Education.
Cynthia studied with Cynthia Millman-Floyd, Robert Oades, Michael Goodwin as well as Dr. Lee Bartel, Dr. Patricia Shand and Dr. David Elliott.
Cynthia taught instrumental and vocal music at the high school level for 17 years and Moved on to become a school principal, School Board Superintendant of Education and School Board Director of Education. Furthermore, Cynthia has been teaching at the University level for a number of years. Cynthia is also qualified in the Kodàly methodology.
She truly believes that music education is important for EVERYONE. Cynthia is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and holds a NATURAL NUTRITION diploma from the Canadian School of Nutrition.
She is also certified in Microscopy for Health Education as well as Reflexology. She is owner of Vital NUTRITION vitale.
