- In 2014, her first student to graduate with ARCT in Piano Performance, Gabriel Lavoie, completed his Gr. 10 Piano, ARCT in Piano Performance and all ARCT theoretical requirements in one year studying under Doreen, at the Honour Recital Gab was the first student to receive awards for highest marks in Gr. 10 Piano, ARCT Piano and Advanced Theory in the same year
